EFCG Announcements

The Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure has joined the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI), moving from Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where it was established 15 years ago. We are honored to recognize our Founder, Paul Zofnass, for his pioneering work in sustainability over the past several decades. His innovation and generosity in creating the Zofnass Program for Sustainable Infrastructure at Harvard University, and partnership with the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, led to the creation of the Envision Rating System to measure the sustainability of infrastructure. And as Paul always said, "if you can't measure it, you can't improve it." We look forward to continuing to support ISI in their powerful goals to improve ESG globally.

EFCG’s 22nd Annual CFO Conference brought together over 100 financial leaders of AEC firms, in-person, from April 27-29 in New York City. During the conference, EFCG named Alan Jennat, CFO for Arup Americas region, as CFO of the Year. Alan’s successful financial leadership and focus on meaningfully improving diversity, equity, and inclusion at Arup and around his community were key reasons why we chose Alan as EFCG's CFO of the Year. Congratulations, Alan!

2022 EFCG Compensation Forum

October 25 - 26, 2022

Using data from our two annual Compensation Surveys and with the expertise and guidance of our Job Matching / Compensation Committee (representatives from Arup, BRPH, CDM Smith, Dewberry, EBI, Jacobs, Moffatt & Nichol, POWER Engineers, Ramboll, Terracon, and Weston Solutions), this Forum will review and react to key trends in the everchanging compensation landscape as firms navigate rising inflation, an intensified war for talent, and ever-increasing compensation demands of top talent. Firms have reported much higher compensation demands from the usual year over year expansion.

Where has your firm seen the biggest shift in compensation demands – has it moved away from traditional salary and bonus to fringe benefits? Do you have new incentives that were not offered previously? What is the right balance to motivate employees across the firm? For any questions regarding the Forum, email Dimitri Milionis at dmilionis@efcg.com.
