Murli Tolaney became an EFCG External Consultant after a successful career at MWH Global, a worldwide, employee-owned environmental engineering, management, technology and construction company with ~$1.5B of revenue (MWH Global was acquired by Stantec in 2016).

Murli joined MWH Global in July 1973 as a Senior Engineer and progressively moved into the position of Department Head, Office Manager, Regional/Group Manager, Chief Operating Officer, served as Chief Executive Officer from 1992 to 2001, and Chairman of the firm from 2001 to 2008. During his tenure as CEO, he led the company from $200M revenue to $1B revenue, including 13 acquisitions, tripling the number of offices in 30 countries and increasing the number of employees by more than five times.

Murli received a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Kansas; and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School.
