EFCG Expands M&A Team with Key Hires

Denver, CO – October 26th – Environmental Financial Consulting Group (EFCG), the leading advisor to Architecture, Engineering, and Consulting (AEC) firms, recently announced three key hires to its M&A team. Trevor Casey joins the firm as a Senior Vice President, Emily Shaw joins as a Vice President, and Alexis Borg joins as an Analyst.

Mr. Casey brings more than 15 years of financial experience, most recently as Vice President on Live Oak Bank's Sponsor Finance team where he focused on providing debt capital to middle market private equity firms. Previously, he was an investment banker on Harris Williams’ Energy, Power, &

Infrastructure team where he helped close several industry-defining M&A transactions with total transaction values exceeding $4 billion. Prior to Harris Williams, he was an Associate at Aiglon Capital Management, an operationally focused private investment firm focused on lower middle market companies. He began his financial career at Hildene Capital, a multi-strategy, structured credit hedge fund. Mr. Casey received his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke and graduated from Georgetown University.

Prior to joining EFCG, Ms. Shaw worked as a Director, FP&A at Vail Resorts, serving as the primary finance partner to Vail's 26 Eastern Region resorts. Previously, she was an investment banker on Goldman Sachs' Equity Capital Markets desk, advising clients in the Financials, Fintech, and Insurance

industries on their public issuance. During her time at Goldman, she priced over 70 initial public offering and follow-on offerings, raising over $40 billion for clients in the U.S. and Canada. Ms. Shaw graduated with honors from Williams College with a degree in History and was also a member of the women's varsity lacrosse team.

Ms. Borg joins EFCG after serving on the Corporate Advisory team at William Blair where she helped advise public companies across all industries on M&A, capital raising, and general corporate matters. Her earlier experience includes a role as an Analyst in the Global Industrials Group at Citigroup. Ms. Borg is an honors graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and now resides in New York City.
