Joan joined her brother, Paul, at EFCG in 1996 and served as the firm's Director of Conferences and Head of Internal HR for over 25 years.  She holds both a PhD and certificate in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and still maintains a private practice.  She has a B.S. from Syracuse University, an M.A. from Boston College, and a PhD from Adelphi University.  Her weekends are spent up in New England where she is an avid kayaker; paddle boarder and gardener. (And yes: she is a Red Sox fan!)
