SANAAQ Indigenous Cultural & Community Centre
Purpose
CIMA+ collaborated with A49, Pelletier de Fontenay and Zébulon Perron to design the Sanaaq Indigenous Cultural and Community Centre, a vibrant community and cultural hub located in downtown Montréal.
The project is deeply rooted in collaboration with the local Indigenous community, ensuring the space reflects their social and cultural values.
Open as of spring 2025, the centre integrates a library, cultural facilities, social spaces and community services in an inclusive, multifunctional environment. CIMA+ provided mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering services to support functionality, aesthetics and sustainability.
