In his nearly three-decade career, Michael has provided strategic climate change advisory services to Fortune 100 companies, the public sector, and non-governmental organizations (like the UNFCCC). As vice president, sustainability, energy, and climate change, Michael successfully supports our clients as they navigate their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) obligations and aspirations.
Passionate about climate action, Michael has experience in greenhouse gas accounting, policy development, adaptation, mitigation, and resilience. His contributions to climate change action have been recognized at the global level with his work that led to the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) winning the IPCC 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. He is committed to doing all it takes to secure a just and sustainable future.
With a deep understanding of physical and transition risks, Michael guides his clients as they move towards a low-carbon economy, addressing investor confidence and regulatory compliance with protocols like CDP, GRESB, and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure.
