HR Executives
EFCG's HR Executive Conference is an extension of our annual HR and Compensation Surveys, which are now in their 6th year. The HR Conference focuses issues specifically relevant to HR executives, using the same style of interactive discussion and panels as our CEO and CFO Conferences -- with added emphasis. The HR ExecutiveConference is a result of client requests to develop and measure appropriate metrics to help them better understand and manage these HR issues, and to do so in a developmental manner. Firms may be represented by either one or two attendees. The Conference is also pre-approved for PHR, SPHR, and GPHR credits from the HR Certification Institute. Participation is limited to 85 and by invitation only.

Design and Infrastructure Sustainability
The Zofnass Sustainability Infrastructure Program at Harvard, funded by Paul Zofnass, is a combined effort between the Sustainability Directors of twenty leading global engineering/consulting firms, and Harvard University’s leading experts in sustainability, drawn from the many schools at Harvard, and is coordinated through the Graduate School of Design. The purpose of the program is to analyze the concept of sustainability as it applies to major civil infrastructure projects on a global basis, and to develop a set of metrics and protocols by which to assess and evaluate the sustainability of such projects, much as the LEEDs program has done for buildings. After an intense year of research and workshops, the Program hosted its first conference in Cambridge, MA on April 21-23. For more information, go to:

EFCG/ACE European CEO Conference
EFCG and ACE (Association for Consultancy & Engineering, the British affiliate of ACEC and FIDIC, the global parent association of engineering firms) have just completed a CEO Conference in London. The conference provided the European e/c firms the same types of benchmarking and industry trend analysis that EFCG has been providing at its US Conferences for the past twenty years, including its focus on financial, capital, internal ownership transition and M&A issues.:
